Director - Marcie Chambers, PhD
Dr. Marcie Chambers is the director of The Rose House. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999. Marcie also has a BA and MS in Psychology. She has over 10 years of clinical experience including individual, group and family therapy. Her hobbies include travel and scuba diving.

THERAPIST AND GROUP FACILITATOR – KELLY SMITH M.S.
Kelly was born and raised in Southern California. She completed her bachelors in Sociology Social work at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In 2004 she moved to Centennial, Colorado where she completed her Master's program in Community Counseling at the University of Phoenix. Kelly brings 3½ years' experience working in the addiction field to her position at the Rose House. Kelly's own recovery is a priority in her life. Kelly is very passionate about helping women in recovery find their way back to happiness, health and wellness. In her free time Kelly enjoys being outdoors spending time with her family and furthering her education.
Certified Addictions Counselor, Level III – Sandra Ewing, CACIII
Sandra's interest in the addictions field started in 1994 when she became clean and sober. As part of her recovery program, she began volunteering with the Colorado Department of Corrections Drug and Alcohol Programs, specific to female offenders. In 2002, She enrolled at Denver Behavioral Health Counselor Training Programs.
With over 5,000 hours of direct client contact and experience working with Co-Occuring Disorder Diagnosis, the Rose House offered a custom therapeutic environment, allowing Sandra the opportunity to apply her clinical skills. Working at the Rose House is more to her than just a job. She is honored to be a part of the treatment team, helping transform and empower women's lives through sobriety. When Sandra is not at the Rose, she's out on her motorcycle enjoying the many scenic byways. She is a Colorado native and loves the Colorado outdoors. Her interests include ongoing education and philosophy.
Psychiatric Technician – Deanna Lammers, CACI
Deanna is a psychology student and a CACI intern with a strong working knowledge of the 12 steps. Before coming to the Rose Deanna worked with the physically and developmentally disabled in various settings for 15 years. She is a 4th generation Colorado native and a mother of four.
PSYCIATRIC TECHNICIAN – SUE NOTHNAGLE
Sue joined the Rose House team as a psychological technician. She is currently a student at Metropolitan State College where she is completing her degree in Human Services, Addiction Concentration. Sue feels that the most important work of her life has been raising her four children. Sue has owned and managed a couple businesses. Knowing the commitment required to operate a business of running a household, she started a business she calls "The Household CEO". She uses life skills to support her clients through organization which helps create balance in their lives, both professionally and personally. Volunteering is another item of much importance to Sue. She has spent many years volunteering for the City of Louisville's Fall Festival, Community After Prom Parents' Association for the local High Schools, Sister Carmen Center and with PSI Seminars of Denver.
PSYCIATRIC TECHNICIAN – BETH MOUSSEAU
Beth was born in Oregon but was raised in Boulder and is originally from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She worked as a Detox Technician for 7 years. Beth has attended classes at the University of Colorado, Front Range Community College and Montessori Education of the Rockies. She has been clean and sober for over twenty-five years. She gained the skills to maintain long term sobriety through the halfway house that was recommended by the Harmony Foundation. Sharing her experience, strength and hope with the clients is something she enjoys. She has raised three children and enjoys hiking and cultural activities.
PSYCIATRIC TECHNICIAN – Nicky Delaney
Nicky was born in Kodiak, Alaska where she lived until she was 13, then moving to Seattle, Washington for High School. She completed her bachelors in Elementary Education at Linfield College in Oregon. Nicky came through the Rose House as a client in April 2010, where she grew into a strong, confident woman. Always having a passion for teaching and helping others, Nicky found that spending her time working with women in early recovery was something she really enjoyed and excelled at. Today Nicky works at the Rose House as a Psychiatric Technician where she relates to the women in early recovery and helps them blossom into their own, strong, sober selves. Nicky is currently going to school to become a Certified Alcohol Counselor and loves to spend her free time with family and friends, outdoors with her dog and traveling.
OPERATIONS MANAGER – BETHA SCHMITZ
Betha is a Colorado Native with strong management and analytical skills. Family is a very important part of Betha's life. She loves spending time with all members of her extended family, but especially with her son Joseph and husband Bob. Through her life Betha has seen how addiction hurts not only the addict but those that are close to them. She has seen the destruction that an addiction can cause and the lives that it can take or alter. She has also seen how becoming sober can transform aperson's life in so many ways. She is hoping to assist the women that come to the Rose House in achieving their current goals, which hopefully will lead them to a happier and more successful future.
THERAPUTIC DOG – ROXY
Roxy is the only 24-7 resident therapy dog. Roxy spends much of her time protecting the home and its residents. She loves to play, accompany clients on walks, or to sit and comfort someone if she feels they need comforting. She happily accepts any attention given to her. Being very intuitive and aware of what is going on with the residents, she is happy to rest her head in your lap if she feels you need comforting, or to offer barks of congratulations when appropriate.
